Why attend a Resilience course ?
Resilience refers to our ability to
take challenges and setbacks in our stride and learn and grow from them. Beyond
adaptability, resilience also helps us have more capacity for enjoyment and
authenticity in our lives.
Over a period of a 4-6 weeks we will acquire
resilience skills and embody them.
If you want to feel more like
yourself, be more adaptable and flexible, be able to think more clearly and
positively, and be more in charge of your well-being, this course is for you!
Course description:
6 weeks of live tutorials,
practice, lectures and home practices
Each session is 1.5 hours long (with a short break if necessary) and will be recorded for attendees only.

Draws from a number of sources including
Resilience tools and strategies, Solution Focused Coaching, Neuroscience,
Hypnotherapy, Mindfulness, QiGong and embodiment principles.
Each week we will be:

Doing some practical resilience exercises together.

Sharing in pair and or in the group

Receive some input from me about the how and why of the resilience strategies that we are exploring that week.

Explore and practice some embodiment technique to help us have a direct experience of grounding, balance and centering.

Course Outline:
Week #1-the Story of Resilience.
Take an active step on your journey: We will learn you how to be the writer of
our own story of resilience using a storyboarding process
Week #2-Clarity of Mind: We will
learn about flexible thinking and how to create positive road maps for our
story of resilience.
Week #3-Nourish Rootedness and
Stability: we will develop awareness of state and ability to manage states
better, including emotional first-aid practices to steady your nerves when
you're feeling on edge.
Week #4-Strength of Heart: we will
look at positive emotions and support networks
Attending this course, you will:

have an embodied sense of what being resilient is
to you

having practiced resilience for a month together,
you will be able to continue cultivating your own resilience

be able to apply practical resilience strategies
that can help when facing challenging situations in any area of your life
About the trainer:
My name is Stephanie Betschart, aka Padmadrishti my buddhist name.
I have been working as a solution
focused hypnotherapist since 2008, using solution focused models of well-being
based on neuroscience, mindfulness and resilience practices to help people 1:1
to shift out of stuckness and into well-being.
I have been practicing buddhist
meditation since 1995, and teaching it at times as well as learning buddhist
psychology and mindfulness
In 2018 I qualified as a QiGong
teacher with the Shiatsu College.
This course is a labour of love and
integration: it brings together all these areas of practice that I feel
passionate about: positive psychology, neuroscience, solution focused, Qigong,
mindfulness and a bit of je ne sais quoi!
